A Day of Belonging

On June 14, 2026, Greater Malden came together at Malden City Hall Plaza for the GMAACC Belonging Block Party, an afternoon of free food, live music, community activities, and meaningful conversation. The day brought together neighbors, local businesses, artists, and organizations in celebration of what makes this community remarkable. It was a reminder that belonging isn't something that happens to us; it's something we build, together, one conversation and one shared meal at a time. Thank you to everyone who showed up and made this day what it was.

Thank you to State Representative Steve Ultrino, Maria Luise (Special Assistant to Mayor Gary Christenson), and Councilors Carey McDonald, Stephen Winslow, Ryan O'Malley, Michelle Luong , Karen Colón Hayes, and School Committee Member Keith Bernard for celebrating belonging with us.
