After more than a decade of community organizing, advocacy, building partnerships, the Greater Malden Asian American Community Coalition (GMAACC) is proud to announce a historic milestone: the establishment of a permanent home in Malden for the city and region’s first-ever Asian American Community and Cultural Center.

We’ve partnered with MassINC Polling Group and others to conduct an important statewide survey about how the coronavirus has impacted small businesses in Massachusetts. We’re asking for your input to ensure that economic recovery programs and policies are informed by your current needs.

MALDEN, MA — The Greater Malden Asian American Community Coalition (GMAACC), in collaboration with Malden Community Organizing for Racial Equity (MaldenCORE) and the NAACP Mystic Valley Branch, will co-host a virtual community vigil Thursday, June 4 to commemorate Black lives that were taken by recent incidents of police brutality. GMAACC also is calling for all officers involved in the killing of George Floyd to be brought to justice.

We’ve launched this initiative to support both our Asian seniors and families right here in Malden, as well as Asian-owned businesses. We’ve partnered with Bon Me, the Malden Senior Center, Malden Neighbors Helping Neighbors, and Chinese Progression Association to bring hot meals and culturally relevant groceries to our elders.
