About Our Youth Programs

GMAACC’s youth program, which began in 2014, started with Malden youth investigating how to improve the conditions for Asian American community members in their own city.

“There’s no other organization that trusts and invests in their youth like GMAACC. It gave me the opportunities to step up in my community, and I don’t think I would have grown the same as a leader without them.”

“Having the Asian American Community and Cultural Center in Malden would finally give us a home, a place where our experiences and voices are acknowledged. We would finally have the opportunity to stand together, support one another, and build a stronger community.”
